HOW DOES FUNDRAISING ON AMERICA FIRST PATRIOT WORK?

You start your Fundraiser by providing your name, address, verifiable phone number and email address so we can confirm that the person setting up the fundraiser and asking for donations is who they say they are, in an effort to provide a safe and risk-free environment to potential donors. It is also required that any User wanting to set up a fundraiser, be a VERIFIED user of AmericaFirstPatriot.org

Next, you’ll set up your fundraising page by creating a Title of your fundraiser and a complete description of your situation, the amount of money you need to accomplish your goal and how the money will be used. You’ll then be giving helpful tools and suggestions as to how and where to promote your Fundraiser.

You can set up a Fundraiser for an individual, a business or a political cause. Every donation is yours to keep, even if you do not reach your goal.

WHAT CAN I RAISE MONEY FOR?

Verified Users of AmericaFirstPatriot.org can raise money for friends, family, or themselves. People often raise money for political causes, the costs of peaceful protests, housing situations, hurricane and tornado relief, medical expenses, fire disasters, funerals & memorials, for their animals & pets, car and auto, or a person in general need of food, clothing, bedding.

People are very caring and creative in finding ways to help others through donations and gifts. As long as it’s legal and ethical, you can raise money for just about anything really.

HOW DO I WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM MY FUNDRAISER?

Once your Fundraiser begins to receive donations, you can request to Withdraw at any time. Simply click ‘Withdraw’ while logged into your account and follow the instructions. You can withdraw your balance directly to your bank account or PayPal. Bank transfers take anywhere from 2-5 business days to complete.

 

HOW DO I KNOW THAT FUNDRAISING ON AMERICA FIRST PATRIOT IS SAFE?

America First Patriot utilizes the highest level of encryption of 256-bit TLS (Transport Layer Security). Additionally, our credit card processor, Stripe, is a PCI Level 1 Service Provider. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. Rest assured, we have taken every measure to protect the data and privacy on all transactions.

CAN ANOTHER PERSON WITHDRAW THE DONATIONS FROM MY FUNDRAISER?

Absolutely. Upon your approval of course. At the time of providing us with your bank account information for Withdrawals, you’ll be offered the opportunity to allow an additional person to Withdraw your funds in the event you become incapacitated to conduct such transactions. Through America First Fundraising, they will receive direct access to the money you have raised. As long as you have provided the electronic permissions for that particular person, they will have access to your funds raised.  They will, however, be required to provide their banking information or PayPal account details to initiate the transfer and perhaps documentation such as ID. We do this only to protect you and your funds that you have raised.

 

ARE THERE ANY DEADLINES OR TIME LIMITS?

Your Fundraiser itself can remain active indefinitely, even after you’ve reached or surpassed your goal.  It will remain active until you end it. However, once you receive your first donation, you’ll need to have your bank transfer information verified within 90 days.  Otherwise, you risk having the donations refunded back to the donor. 

WHAT IF I DON’T REACH MY GOAL?

On the America First Fundraising platform, you are not required to reach your goal and you can even raise more money than your goal. Even after you’ve reached your goal, your Fundraiser can remain active and people can still donate to it. Once you start receiving donations you can begin transferring the funds to your account regardless of whether or not you’ve reached your goal.
