5. Business Plan and Policies

A detailed business plan is required, outlining the lending model, target market, risk management framework, and financial projections. Compliance policies such as KYC, AML, Fair Practices Code, and IT security must also be in place.

6. Registered Office and Infrastructure

The NBFC must have a registered office in India, along with proper IT systems, accounting infrastructure, and internal controls.
