Turkish Airlines has a pet travel policy for some of the animals it accepts for carriage. It offers an option of travel that is both safe and affordable for pets. For all other pets, the airline allows animals to travel in the cabin with their owners if they can fit in an under-seat kennel or be placed under the owner's seat by paying Turkish Airlines travel fee. If these conditions cannot be met, pets will have to travel in cargo instead and must meet certain requirements. For animals that are sensitive to climate changes, Turkish Airlines suggests that you contact them before booking them on your flight. Pets are only allowed on flights up to eight hours long. If you book a flight with a greater duration than eight hours, your pet will need to travel in cargo instead of cabin with you and will not be allowed on board at all times.
